Our Vision

The Center for Research and Development (CReDe) of CELTECH College envisions itself to be at the forefront of research in the City of Pampanga and the Province of Zambales — promoting and nurturing a culture of genuine intellectual inquiry and academic integrity.

Our Mission

To develop an institutional research role and build a culture of research that is conducive, supportive, constructive, and motivating — assisting the institution in meeting its research requirements, and improving the quality of research outputs that impact policy, development, and the quality of community life.

What We Aim For

Specific Objectives.

Seven concrete goals that guide the Center for Research and Development.

Conduct institutional, social, and academic research projects geared towards the attainment of the vision, mission, and goals of the College.

Provide the necessary guidance, assistance, and technical know-how in the conduct and completion of approved research proposals and projects for faculty and students.

Build capabilities in conducting research among the faculty members.

Create and train a faculty pool of reviewers / examiners for students' research outputs.

Come out with a research journal at least once a year.

Provide the research requirement needs of the College for the accreditation of its programs and development plans.

Provide accurate and timely information to support data-based decision making by senior administrators.

Capacity-building and support programs for faculty and students.

Research Capability Building

An institutional mechanism designed to create a pool of competent and conscientious CELTECH researchers. Two components: research and proposal writing training, and research coaching.

Research Utilization Program

Facilitates the use of research results for the benefit of identified stakeholders — integrating findings into interventions, supporting paper presentations, policy translation, and publication.

Faculty Research Program (FRP)

Provides faculty with research opportunities for personal and intellectual growth, and helps them comply with CHED requirements while receiving institutional incentives.

Student Research Program

An integral part of the curriculum for all Baccalaureate Degree Programs — covering Methods of Research, Feasibility Study, Research I, and Research II.
